Yeah I think vin wire looks like a good option.

Once the car arrives next week I will start the build thread. And I am sure I will have a heap of questions.

Do they need an original loom to work off?

Yeah I think they are.

Was planning just to shorten or lengthen wires as required if I got the cip one.

After a complete (or near to complete) wiring loom for a 1960 karmann ghia.

Checking before i order a new one from CIP.

We are looking around the northern beaches. Surprisingly some good places around.

Have managed to get some mates together and we are going to rent a workshop. Some good deals on gumtree.

Ha. If I had a mate with a spare garage I would!

Can anyone recommend somewhere in Sydney (pref nord side) that I can store and work on a car that won't cost an arm and a leg?

Hi Am looking for a beetle prefer pre 60s but would be happy with something up to 67. Am in NSW so if it is a car from interstate it would need to be reasonably standard, as it seems that getting a modified car from another state rego'd in NSW is going to be a challenge. Doesn't need to be immaculat...
