I had an existing engine stand from supercheap and he made up the head to suit the VW engine.

I was hoping to just get one housing - looks like I might have to buy that, substitute a housing and then flip it. Has anyone got a ratty RHS heart tail light housing I could extract from them. I can swap it for a nice one, or $$$. (If it is complete with lenses, then I could swap an assembled one)
Emerald has got the LHS with great patina to match the rest of the car, but it didn't come with the RHS.

I've got nothing to prove it, but from what I have seen the Mann cleaners were also supplied on the 54/55 36hp motors.
You don't really need a strap over to be "correct".
Has your engine got a Mann already? What's the date code on it?
