I got them out when I took it down one spline, what I'm trying to say is that the teeth are close to becoming stripped.

Thanks fellas, but the splines on my springplates are meshed together with the torsion bars, and I can't find any second hand locally. I don't know how this could have happened, but I guess they could have come this way after being re-adjusted too many times? Or incorrectly? So, I'm still on the loo...

I'm looking for a clutch return spring to suit a 65 Beetle, aswell as some rubber suction caps and clamps to fit my roofrack. There's no Clark rubber stores for a good 100kms.

No real urgency on the roofrack bits.
