I am chasing some heater boxes for the 58 it has a 36hp donk.

you can buy them for about $160 from wolfsburg (not gary) im just about to make a full stainless one replicating the original one..

first in best dressed, don't know what they are off and dont care much either... they were in a scrap car I aquired last month

Had a few messages so here's what they are....

they are going back in the pile on the weekend, took fuching ages to dig 'em out :evil:

Those heaters in the pic with the wrapping around them look like early Type 3 heater boxes to me, since they are covered and rear outlets are offset more than beetle ones.

As for 36hp boxes, I scored a bargain pair of NOS ones on ebay last month for $90, so they still out there.

Be aware you will also need the tin that goes with the above pic of the heater pipe part.

thanks anyway brent but yeah wrong ones, my ones are stuffed :( ill do some more searching around and pm scotty, might have to not have heaters and just put extractors on or something

I've got a 36 muffler and both heaters, not in too bad shape.
