61 splitty parts or some good web sites

Post by dimetri »

Hi guys, about to get cracking on my 61 splitty. Wondering if anyone has some parts, head lights, indicators, wipers etc laying around they might want to sell??. Or if there are some good web sites I could purchase these sorts of things from.
Thanks. Jamie.

Thanks fellas.
Will use new bits if I have to but old recycled parts would be better.

Under what heading will I start the build thread??

Wow. That samba classified site has every thing but I will try the local fellas first. Thanks.

Novice coming out in me but not sure what "original metal" is?

Thanks. All good with the metal. Body is pretty good.

Quick question.
I have a spare set of headlights from a 56 beetle, are they the same headlights as on a 61 kombi?
