Good luck with the search Niko.

You can disagree with me if you like, but I feel I should say something......as a first car, in today's driving conditions, I would be recommending a car with ABS and airbags.

Cheers
John

Yes sorry John it will be a joint project car we will build and it will be a club car so not really a daily driver.

I agree there John for a daily. Jake wanted a bug for his first but has since changed his plans and I think we will go for something like a late 2000s Saab Aero or a late Golf, as they have all the safety items plus is a whole lot of car for the money you can get them for. And not the usual commonwhore. He can build a VW anytime after that as a project.

Have to agree..
Just went through the whole first car purchase for my daughter and after looking for late model golf/polo , ended up buying new.
Good deal from Ringwood VW was made for a 2016 Polo Trendline with metallic paint.. $16100 on road .
Piece of mind for me to protect our cotton wool wrapped kids..
Looking for a mk3 VR6 and a 90's hiace... Future projects for shits and giggles.
