Post by xornge666x »

These are a few of the cars from a shop where I do some work at... the guy who owns it is a body guy, and I do some mechanical stuff down there....
These are from the first main show of the year in Litchfield CT.

We just finished a 72 German look for the owner of the inca red vert. Not my style, but pretty sweet driver, ill find some pix and post em here.

That car is street registered and driven too!!
No real long distances, but has done a few hour long drives to shows and car meets etc.
Its a rear end tube chassis, ladder bars, 3" raise on the pan head, folts axle conversion with 091 etc etc.

Not been to the track yet, but from memory that engine made high 300's on the dyno. It was built out in CA and shipped over here.

Best thing is, no hassles from the cops.
Here is the German lool, and a pic of another street driven car, that stopped by the shop the other week...
72 has a 2276 by Art at ACE, rancho trans, and plenty of other trick parts....

Nice pics. Looks like a pretty high standard in that bunch. Like the low-line rack on the patinaed car.

Im from Keysborough... not a yank!!

Just live here at the moment....

People in OZ have great ideas, you just cant roll cars as full on as here as the cops will boot you off the road.
That turbo car has ladder bar rear suspension, with folts axles, which it has spat out twice on the road - leading to a loose wheel in the guard.... sometimes I see the logic in some of Australias laws when I see what you can get away with here!!!!
