i know this is a long shot, but chasing the small housing 12v generator for a 36hp.

or does someone know of someone who can rewire/rewind an existing 90mm generator to 12v?
ive searched around and not comin up with anythin...

Petty sure that 356 Porcshe are 12v and fit a 36hp gennie stand? Maybe someone could confirm

yes, but hard to come by. more guys are getting them rewound these days.

The early Porsche ones fit, but real hard to find an not cheap. I'm tryin to find someone to rewind it if it's cheaper, an also if 6v reg can be rewound/rebuilt to 12v too..
Shiny paint doesn't make it worth any more.

Any shop that rewinds Gennys should be able to do it

Genny should cost 250 to 300ish to get done

Porsche ones are hard to find and exy as mentioned

I have one of both here if you get stuck

Hate to think of postage cost.

I'm assuming this is for Valla?

There's a guy on thesamba that does 12V regs inside early cases
I'm scared my fibreglass addiction is becoming a real problem

Ive been quoted $130 locally to rebuild a 12v spose thats note a re wind rather just a re bush / Bearing

Google "armature rewinders..."

Genny is like an electric motor but in reverse..
Looking for a mk3 VR6 and a 90's hiace... Future projects for shits and giggles.
