This was kind of cool. They set up a bus & let the children paint on it. I noticed some tagging on there too. (Probably the same mexican wanna bees I had to set straight for dragging their hands on any car they came to.) granted, it's a bus, but with parents telling their kids all day to not touch the cars, then singling out one for them to have at it, I thought it was cool.

Yea. The Peterson automotive museum brought some out. Also Warner brothers brought a few movie cars too. I noticed every car had shiny paint. Some shows won't allow a rat or work in progress in. I like the shows that do let them in, cause you see more custom cars, & learn some about how they're making their car. Not everyone can afford ten g's in paint. Besides, if its about the cars & people who appreciate them, why have an any make & model show & not let any car guy in?

The batmobile was neat too. Both, but specifically the later one. Crazy to think that someone imagined that & that someone else made it into a real car. Looking at it in person, it looks like it shouldn't work. Another highlight was the dukes of hazard. I met a stunt driver when I was about 6, & I lived in Wisconsin. Got a pic with the car & autograph with the driver. I think this car was from the last movie tho. Still brought up a cool memory for me.

Ok, today is Sunday here & I was at the treffen 15 show in Oxnard Cali. I have a mean sunburn, & raccoon eyes, although it was overcast most of the day. Well worth it. This is heavy on the pics. It was a good turnout, all vw's & my favorite was the 49 hebmuller. The damn thing was parked next to my car, so I was invisible to most people.
I think the ostrich was a bit much.
