I've seen that car in the local classifieds for awhile now. I'm not sure if that was the original owner or if its been sold to the guy who brought it to the show. No plate on the decklid & split bumpers, the colors go well. I like the look aswell.

Thanks for the pics Jaison.

Like that blau Ghia. Have seen those linkages before and been considering them for mine.

I haven't seen them before. They remind me of motorcycle linkage. We were talking to someone about them at the show, he says they aren't very road friendly, but more for a neat appearance. I don't know if that's true, personally, I think it's was a damn good idea. If it works on bikes, why wouldn't it work here? It definitely gave a smart appearance. I think you should go for it! I might end up with a set myself. I'm tired of my linkage popping off the carb.

JPM run a similar linkage on their throttle bodies.

Did he say why he thought it wasn't very road friendly?

He didn't say why. I checked with my brother who was talking to him more, but he didn't find out why either. I think if the wheel on the throttle plate is the right size, you can have full travel with the pedal, & there should be no problem. I don't see a throttle return spring on the linkage, although it might be behind the wheel on the carbs.

Yeah, was wondering about a return spring.

Here's the thread on them....
