VW Passat R36 - The new daily

Post by simon65bug »

Took delivery of my new daily drive yesterday.

It's a 2009 VW Passat R36 Wagon in candy weiss.

Not really sure what they came with as standard but they sure have a lot of bells and whistles.

Got a few plans in line for it. Getting wheels put on hopefully tomorrow. It's booked in for a sub and amp on Thursday for my own listening pleasure, but in saying that I am extremely surprised at the bass from the factory system.

Anyway, here is a few pictures of its current state

Cheers guys, yeah weiss was the only choice for me, and apparently quite rare in a wagon too.

No issue with the handbrake. Due for 60k service in a few weeks - $1450 was the quote  Awesome car though, it loves the winding roads as well as the long straight ones. Handing it over to the wife soon, gonna miss it as my daily.

Wish mine was only due it's 60k service.... Unfortunately my budget only allowed for a high KM car, still feels like new though. :-)

Three on a set of wheels last weekend.... Love this thing even more now. Put in an Alpine sub and amp too, sounds quite decent as its a wagon.
