OMG how many police and transport inspectors can you have on one road!

So please excuse me as I have come from Perth and nord WA but I have never seen so many police, speed camera signs and inspectors. At one point they had an inspection area set up and were pulling over trucks and every car they could to inspect.

Now I appreciate they have a job to do but wow what an effort!

Did make me think how they would take my lowered bus on WA plates if they pulled me over, my first thought is that I'd be F@#ked!

They have been doing a blitz up here for the past 6 months... Just luck of the draw and abit of common sense (Thursday night and Saturday nights are the usual hoon nights round here) and I just stay well clear of the Gold Coast as its defect central. Other then not clearing 100mm they probly wouldn't know what they are looking at.

There have been a lot of fatalities on the highway from Moranbah to Mackay, hence the increased fuzzy presence up there. An old work mate fell asleep at the wheel and passed away, he was only 19 and a hard working guy with his head screwed on. Happens too often. They are more interested in heavy vehicles and light vehicles that speed.

Too many idiots around

I was following a B-Double tanker on the Peak Downs the other week which took a corner too quick and the rear trailer was up on two wheels.

About a week later, the road was closed at the same point because of a tanker on fire......I wonder if the same driver??

One trucking company is having some issues, lost 3 tankers in 2 weeks!
