The Replacement Mk2

Post by Jase »

As most of you know been looking for a schwarz Mk2 ever since selling my old one to Oliver and regretted it ever since

Picked this up a little while back

Still a work in progress

Straight as really nice paint and drives real nice great interior

Picked it up in Sydney sight unseen at about 10 o'clock at night n drove it home 8)

Threw some Coilovers under it and on with some wheels

Need a gauge pod (coming in post) to fill radio hole

Have new side skirts

I'll swap wheels too, front lip is dragging on the ground so need some height

Need door rubbers and scrapers for one side (reckon it lived outside parked for a while)

Brought her home the other day showed her some love

She still wasn't happy 😡

Need to have a look running like a pig popping and farting!

I'll sort out engine and order a couple of rubbers and change the wheels to something a little more substantial to fill gaurds

Hit a stupid NSW pot hole at 110 and killed the injection.

Injectors seem to be jammed one continuous pulse flooding cylinders and fuel everywhere

Still could be worse

Yeah either that or bad earth causing probs with digifant
I was 600k from home on the side of the road with about 10% on my phone and no charger all I had was my mini sidchrome kit n that was it

Walked about 10k back to near jugiong then managed to hitch to Gundagai to hire a car and drive back up to kids 🙄

It's still up there have to go n get it still

Was always intending to replace engine with either 1.8t or a VR6 😉
