Hi all, hoping some t4 legends can help me sort this out. Just backed into the driveway of the place we're house sitting in Caulfield and threw it into 1st to park. All of a sudden the clutch pedal hits the floor and stays there and she stalls. Now it's stuck in gear and the pedal is useless. We're supposed to be vacating tomorrow morning the owners won't even be able to get in their driveway. Anyone know what's farked?? Help! f@#k! Thanks! :)

Have you got brake pressure?

Did the clutch pedal return or stick to the floor?

Thanks Jase. No return and brakes feel a little stiff.

Brakes and clutch share the same reservoir

Check you've got brake fluid

Flick pedal up n see if there's any pressured there

Has clutch been noisy at all?

When they go they just go 😉

No pressure in either direction for the clutch pedal.
Plenty of fluid but looks cloudy. :/

And hasn't been noisy. Usually smooth as silk.

Sounds like maybe a slave cylinder maybe

Just start it in gear to get it out of the driveway?

Don't really need a clutch

Got a new issue now, trying to get pink slip but the airbag light is on. Can't afford to pay someone to fix it and don't give a stuff if the airbag works or not. So does anyone know how I can turn it off??

I've taken it all apart had a look at the clock Spring and cleaned up all the connections etc and can't see what the problem is.

Does it need to be reset to turn the light off even if I've fixed the connection?

Yeah it won't reset itself, you'll need VAGCOM

It's usually voltage drop across the connectors

Find a workshop that does VW and Audi stuff that's not a dealer they should only charge you like $50

I've been buying Citroen parts for our work cars from this place.
Got an alternator for $120, $220 if i wasn't a 'mechanic' and Bursons quoted me $550 for a new alternator.

If you can say you are a mechanic etc it'll be cheaper, remember that
