My Dad spotted the oval in Kenmore on Saturday, he thought it was me at first, but obviously doesn't know the difference between stock height and wheels, to lowered on Cosmics....so a fair few people spotting it lately, except me....I haven't seen it in 6 or so years

However getting them a bit ratty to suit the car would be a challenge and new chrome door handles would look a little out of place, but it's an option at least.

When I spoke to Das Resto about 4 weeks ago about Gasburners they said they'd be putting in an order in the next few weeks and that they'd then be 10 weeks away(so probably still 8 or so weeks away). I needed something immediately and went with Cosmics from CIP as they were my preferred wheel anyway...

Love the red Ghia on Gasburners, and the dark silver one on TH Lines too. That schwarz 'vert with skirts is cool too.....quite a lot of nice cars actually.

I thought '54/'55 handles were unique and that makes sense about it being LH locking with them not bothering to switch it for RH countries early on. I saw TEX yesterday which is a LHD car and his handles are obviously set up that way. But looking back at old pics of my '55 it had a RH locking handle...
