Another question for the Trust, wouldn't this have dash clearance problems with the shorter steering column in anything post '60? Splines not an issue.

Thanks for the lead Rhett. I am a bit confused as I thought they would be the same as on my 58, but Cip shows a different part number for 52-57 and 58+ Anyone know if they are the same? My understanding is that oval drums are narrower so they are indeed different. Personally I'd go with later drums...

Quarter vent window assemblies (L&R) for '56 oval

The latch mechanism for both my vent windows have both snapped off, so I am looking for some new vent window assemblies for my 56 oval. I'm not sure of the nuances in beetle vent windows but I'd guess anything from 56-64 would fit.

Let me know what you have.

Cheers

Not a 356 but a 550. Saw this today in Wellington NZ, but registration in Oz would be challenging.

Karman Ghia RHD dash

After a RHD Karmann Ghia dash, I am not sure of the differences in the dashes over the years but I think 1963 or earlier will do the trick. Will need the dash and glovebox lid, no need for the gauges.

PM me if you have something that may work.

WTB: American Eagle centre cap

A long shot. I lost a centre cap for an American Eagle Empi 5 spoke wheel, so looking for a replacement. Anyone got one or know where I could source one locally?

Looks like this:

Postage on the above one is a bit too $$$.

After sourcing one from Ol (thanks mate), it turns out that, despite looking extremely similar, it wasn't quite the right size. My pulley is around 182mm in diameter, and the replacement one I have is 175mm in diameter. Lip looks exactly the same. http://i83.photobucket.com/albums/j312/Nevada51/WMJ9...

Cheers Leroy, I may have sourced one locally - will know later this evening. If not, I may take you up on yours.

36HP Crankshaft Pulley

I don't believe my 36HP crankshaft pulley is supposed to be in two pieces as shown in the pic, so I am in urgent need of a replacement. Anyone got one they want to part with??

I'm currently running a 4.5" narrowed beam with CB spindles. The spindles push it out around 0.5" on either side. I am looking to go back to a more stock look, but still want to keep the option of swapping the 4.5" beam back in. I may end up putting the stock beam back in  but ...
