The 3.5" spindles are run above the trailing arms and look pretty dodgy and would easily be noticed by any inspector- I doubt they will pass rego any more easily than the WW welded ones. The WW spindles would be much less conspicuous than these IMO. They are much more expensive because they nee...

Try Understated (Geoff) on DSK makes them if you provide two sets of cores, and Wagenswest does them with a 10mm track increase per side for about $450 landed here.
