My xp had side windows. The reckon factory windows were quite rare. They do look great without windows though

I haven't taken many photos of the things that I have been up to, I had a semi-crack at getting it ready for my wedding, but when I dropped the gearbox off to be re-conditioned, he basically told me to find another one which set me back a way. Nug and Dib came around and helped smooth the firewall and engine bay, which now looks dead sexy, flipped the drag link and basically got me moving again.... and then I dropped the ball.

I had been having a lot of trouble with the length of the motor, basically I want to run an engine fan so that when you lift the bonnet, everything looks like 1963, even have a powermaster generator/alternator to complete the look.

I'll post some pics up soon when my dumb phone sorts it's shit out, but I had a big win today. Got the motor and trans back in with my modified engine mounts, my trans crossmember looks pretty good and when I mocked up the radiator and engine fan, I had about 15mm of clearance which should be plenty.

So basically I'm stoked, everything looks like its now going to fit which has been the biggest hurdle so far. Now I just have to start mounting everything properly and start sorting out the carby problem. At the moment it looks like it may be through the bonnet. A trip to the wreckers is on the cards.

Anyway photos soon when I sort my technology shit out. Happy days

This is my garage. It's 5'11 tall and I'm 6 foot which makes it uncomfortable at times. When it rains it gets an inch of wasser in it as well. But at least it's mine

And this is progress for the day. Motor in and dumb commonwhore twisted radiator as well. Factory fan fits as well.

The radiator is actually twisted by about an inch across it's width so it doesn't sit flat.
