All German show 'n' shine - Sydney

Post by Pollywaffle »

Today was the 1st annual all German show 'n' shine. Good turnout if you like watercooled cars but some great 356's there. I didn't take photos of everything as a lot of people brought their daily driver which was just a bog standard Golf or BMW.

Was a nice morning. Perfect weather and good effort for a first year. The organizers actually seemed happy to have a variety of cars there, and when leaving took the time to invite you to attend next year.
The fact that my car was Australian built must of escaped them though :p

it was bloody hot out there in the direct sun but there was planty of shade over on one side so it was good.
Heaps of stock standard clean looking cars. Nice to see heaps of 356 and early 911 out there.
My favourite for the day was the Audi convertible R10. Beautiful machine!
This year I'll finish a project

Sorry Jase, I didn't see this question before. Nah, I don't think so. The owner appeared to be some hardcore old guy. I didn't get up close enough though to check it.

That blau 59 is sweet. Great story about how it came into the current owners possession. Sometimes, apparently, they just fall in your lap.
