Picnic at Hanging Rock 2012

Post by Sunshine »

Great day, great weather and some pretty cool cars too. Quite a few VW's which was great to see. Few pics of the day.

This thing was my favourite of the show. The bodywork, paintwork and overall car was stunning. You would be hard pressed to find another like it.

What a day ! The patined ute was my 'best in show'. So many fantastic cars that in the end I could not see the wood for the trees.

Was a top day, I can see myself going for years to come. Some amazing American muscle cars too. About 4 59 model corvettes as well, what a great car. Biggest thing for me was the number of makes and models, something for everyone.

Saw The Chop Rhett, one hell of a car. Looks sleek as, got an 'aura' around it! Something about that car, imagine when in the woods, if that is how you are going to roll with it. Didn't see you about, probably because I was in the abyss of cars, not a bad place to be. Thanks for the compliments! Appreciate them! The Fog purred all the way there and back, loved every second of it.

I took shitloads of photos, but I generally focus on the Jap stuff cos I go with the Toyota club.. we were pretty stoked as we got the Best Club award.. which isn't bad going in a show that isn't at all Jap oriented!

Anyways to something more relevant to the folk here ... I did take a few VW's, and a few other things that were cool as f@#k... the schwarz slammed F100 was one of my faves, as was the Corvette a few posts above.

A selection...

Nice looking show.

That circuit racer style Corvette looks pretty funky.

The Chop and that schwarz notch are looking great!
