Mk1 cool but old
Mk2 has the cool boxy lines of mk1 but much nicer to drive and more mod cons
Mk3 just went ugly fat didn't know if it was square n boxy or round n smooth
They can be made to look cool but it takes a lot more work
Mk4 they Got it back on track pumped guards and more advanced nice smooth lines
I like mk4s
Buy a golf 3 door jam a bora front end on it coil overs wheels done

T5s are 5x120 same as Beemer Dunnydoors and a few others, different offset though
Hate to tell you though Spike having spent the last couple of months looking for something in a 5x100 there's f@#k all
Subies are the same PCD but massively diffent offset as most Jap stuff is
Most of the Euro guys run Merc wheels with adapters. I didn't want to run adapters seems like cheating to me
I've ended up getting blanks in the right offset and they're getting drilled to suit
This is a really good site to working out what fits what
