Twin port manifold standoffs

Post by Salty »

I have just got a engine that has a single carb - for it to fit in the type 3 I'll need some spacer blocks/standoffs for the manifolds to clear the tinware.
Does anyone have anything like that available?

I should post a pic. Yeah, my setup is type 1 manifold ends.. it's super close to fitting but the oil filter offsets it by about 10mm.

Can you get spacers?

That is correct. I think it will work.. Or easier but more $ is twin carbs. I'll mock it up tomorrow and see if it is a easy fix

Looking to buy this kit for a set of Weber 36 IDF carbies. Has anyone had any experience using these manifolds and linkage set? Apparently they are both the same as CSP ones. Also, with the luft cleaners, what size (height) do I need to make sure that they fit under the deck lid? I will be running velocity stacks as well. Cheers in advance.

The link takes a while to load - the CB performance website is bloody slow!
