Thanks for the kind words guys.
Have been busy with various resto's lately, mainly the KG vert that is finally into paint! (original colour Signal Orange)
Prepped:
Masked:
And into paint:
Will get some more updates happening soon. For anyone on Facebook, you can check out more details on FB if you search for "DAS Resto" including some details to win a trip to the USA for next year's VW Classic and OCTO shows - more details to come shortly on our website (dasrestoparts.com.au)
Cheers

Well its taken me a while but got Dad's T34 pan blasted again and some minor filler work done:
Then finally into epoxy and high build primer:
Now some fine tweaking and remaining filler work and then spot prime and lastly some gloss schwarz!
Also been busy colour sanding the KG body:
Long process but worth the effort. Hopefully will have the body reunited with pan in next couple of weeks and then the other bits can start going back together - other parts are off at the chrome platers, and cadmium platers and powder coaters etc!

Apart from colour sanding the KG which continues....
...also got Dennis's panel van roof into paint today - he is going navy blau over light blau for something different
Came out reasonably well off the gun but I'll be cutting and buffing the whole bus anyway to really give it some deep gloss
Cheers
