Kombi drag car - well sort of..

Post by ritalin_boy »

Me and old mate uncle Sprongll put a 'safe' tune on this supercharged commo drag car.. It will be up for sale after vw nationals.

We modified the factory computer to accept delco hacking memcal then tuned it with tuner pro. A lot of work but it sounded good.

It ain't mine nor did I build it.

That's wild!

Did it start life as a SC? What mods have been done to the chassis?

It started life as a microbus.

It has an aluminium beam with rack and pinion steering for its centre seating position.

The chasis is custom, shortened and lifted 100mm after the cab. It still runs a kombi torsion rear with a vw auto.

It's pretty clever, but not really my thing.
