Rubbing

Post by Megalania »

Hi guys,
I searched on the forum but couldn't find an answer. Just installed coilovers on the schwarz bitch (mkiv golf) and can't drive it now as the tyres are actually rubbing the coilover spring, on the front as haven't done the back yet. . I know they fit as Jase was running them on his mkiv bora but with a lower profile tyre and I bought them off him. Is it a better of just getting a spacer to give it more clearance? I am guessing it is but have read that spacers are illegal in Vic.

Thoughts?

Thanks.

Thanks nafe. I came to the same conclusion and ended up ordering some 8mm spacers from ecs. Also ordered some new strut tower rubbers and bearings.
