Hey guys and gals.
Doing a 6 to 12v conversion on the 57 beetle.
Have most of the bits and pieces.
But need a 12v starter.
Other option is just run the 6v. Knowing it will burn out eventually.
But I’d rather do it right the first time.
So if you’ve got one or know anyone with one I’d be very appreciative.

Just a thought if you do end up fitting a 12v flywheel.
The gearbox housing will need grinding in certain spots to clear the flywheel.
At least thats what i had to do to my 6v gearbox. Correct me if i’m wrong!
Also I recently installed a new pressure plate and had to grind down the section just near the fork. So it would clear.
