I actually broke my habit of getting a speeding fine between the ACT and VIC for the first time in about 6 trips by NOT getting one
Got to Canberra just before midnight on Sunday, then left there Tuesday morningish.
So where's all your pics? i wanna see that one of mine rolling!

Hopefully have some pics tonight. Didn't get back till 1am Monday night. Last night I was out at a gig, picking up tips for the band.

Beat you and Bubblehead by 30mins mate. I left Valla at 8.45 monday morning, walked in the door in Cheltenham at 12.45am that nite. Absolutely f**ked. Long way for one driver. Obviously wasnt thinking too straight at the last fuel stop as I forgot to replace the fuel cap and ended up with very smelly luggage and front boot when I got home. T34 ran sweet as all the way back.
Worth it tho, Valla no 4 for me was bloody excellent, perfect weather, lots to drink and eat and dubs of description everywhere. And meeting up with VW peeps I see every 2 years. Nice to put a few faces to names from here too. Already looking forward to Valla 2010. Better ratio gear box and a larger fuel tank are on the prep list.

Obviously the ones above were chosen as they were better snaps generally, but here is a few more of that particular car.
Jeff is the owner, who previously had the Candy Pink Oval(Cool 56) and the first schwarz rat rod going around 4 years ago when I was there last.

That is what it was about for me. Seeing bugs and busses rolling - esp the low rides.....not parked up and prissy but working.
