Had an early start on Friday to get down to Milton Keynes to meet up with James about midday, who had been busily working on the 23.
It's a two day show starting on Saturday, but setting up the cars starts as early as Thursday. As James was planning on displaying the 23 in the outside section we were going to cruise down Friday afternoon. However, when I got to his it became clear we wouldn't be leaving any time soon.
The bus was still on axle stands, had no deck-lid, rear valance, bumpers, bumper trim, quarterlights, steering wheel, wheels or tyres, door cards, seat kick panels, no working rear lights, indicators or brake lights, no sill trim, was covered in carpet glue and polish residue, had missfitting window rubbers and the sunroof still needed to be finished off!
By 11pm we were finally finished, but decided to get an early night and head off at 5:30 in the morning instead. It was freezing cold but was good to finally see the 23 on the move. I followed in his Devon.
Early am at the show, finally. The 23 and the velvet green and weiss Devon just behind. More later.

Big thanks to FONZ....eeeeeeyyyyy!!! for mucking in for the last big day on friday. Had a cool time at the show but felt bloody tired for most of it. Met some great people and saw some cars.
I forgot to take my camera, got a couple of photo's on the phone but need to work out how to get them on the computer.

No need to thank me mate. That bus is all you and Nick, and you've worked your butts off to turn it round nice and quickly. The little I did is all part of the show fun.
Cruising down to the show (pic accurately replicates what our vision was like early that morning)....
