2011 Vw action day - 11 September - QLD

It's come around again, the Vw action day held on wynnum waterfront (less then one minute drive from our driveway) on 11 September. Always a good turn up in a beautiful location.
Can also offer a place to stay for any of you southerners that may be thinking of making the trip up, wether it be fly or drive
just pm for details.

Looks like most of the cars will be parked along the wasser front and not in bandstand park

They seem to think I'm joking when I say I don't want a bloody polo shirt and would prefer a discounted entry so someone who actually wants one doesn't miss out!
Not only are they going to have a stack of left over shirts because no one wants one, but they are going to have an empty show because apparently it's pay the $25 per car and are forced to take a shirt or don't enter...
Such a shame considering this is the 25th anniversary hence why they've chosen to up the price to include a shirt (polo shirts scream 60 year old man who loves golf), but to not give people another option than to park on the road is ridiculous! I can see them losing out on a lot of money because of this arrangement!
We are almost tempted to pay just the $10 for the swap meet to sell a gasket!

just tell em your here to sell shit... pay the 10 bucks and park in the park with all the so called show cars
bit of a shame... dont really wanna pay 25 bucks to park in my street... so we might just settle for the curb.... see how we go...
