Hey all ,
i'm looking for two deep 6 and two 15x8 early Fuchs. My bus had these on it when i came from the US and i want the look again, even though these are frikkin expensive. I have the contact in Florida for a set but i'm try here in Aus first. I would love to know where the highly polished set is that were removed in Qld in late 2010. Anyone know anything? Cheers

They look it but are not, a stunning wheel imo. I've been chatting to the guy who owned the bus in Cal,
" Well Chris I had deep six early Fuchs in the front and 15 x 8 early Fuchs in the rear they were awesome wheels but the guy that sold it first in Australia took them off and replace them with some repros .I used to love these wheels they where Awesome

GASBNR has some deeps 6's advertised in his sig line.
as for early 8's if they were earlies then i think they must have been 7's i don't think they went wider. early 7's were an option or ex 911R and make deep 6's look very affordable.

Yeah that bus had 15 x 8's on the rear, they not early, anywhere from the mid 70's to the mid 80's
I've got the front beam/brakes that was in that bus when it came from the US! It's going into my split project!

Ahh thanks for the info, he told me the rears were VERY expensive, and they were restored by Alex Magro of Florida. I'll call him later tonight and find out how much it's going to cost me.

Really? the guy who bought built the bus told me the beam is from Franklin's vw werks, i'm told they build the best beams in the US. It also had Willwood brakes. Did you buy it from a fella named John?. Do you know where the wheels are?

Yep it was John, yeah it's a Franklin's beam with dropped spindles, Porsche discs and willowood calipers.
The rims were definitely deep sixes and 15 x 8's (don't know where they are now)
Your best bet for the deep Sixes at the moment is Oliver 'GASBNR' cheaper than the US and local!
Also, 8's are Cheaper than the deep sixes and should technically be easier to find!
Cheers,
Adam
