Swing by any time Nug - as long as you're not wearing your mankini this time. The locals at Burleigh Heads have never recovered after the last time you came for a 'swim'

Always welcome to drop by Nug, mankini or not.

Finally got the welds dressed on the underside of dad's T34 pan - time to sort the top side now then finish jacking points etc etc.

Well the notch ships out on Thursday so I figured I better drop it down a little lower and put on some decent wheels ;)

Will have some better photos soon. Wheel alignment, final engine tune and then au revoir to the notch :)

I liked it on the mangles - but I LOVE it on the sprints... 8) 8)

It's fantastic Al - awesome job, customer I'm sure will be over the moon...

Dash looks pretty good, what did you end up doing with it? Move the holes? Or widen the dash?

Thanks guys, owner is pretty stoked after a fairly long resto road :)

Ben, dash was left as is - just had to slot the holes on the handle and then tweaked it as much as we could without cutting and extending. The gaps at the a-pillar ends are still there but some schwarz closed cell foam helped to hide it a little. Remaining stock is on sale as we won't be re-ordering:

Shall keep it in mind mate :)

Well our time with Grover the single cab has come to an end after a LOT of work, much of which is under wraps for now. But the underside and the body is solid once again and in primer ready for Phil to work his magic with suspension etc. Rest assured, as much patina was saved as possible :)

The pan on the back of the single cab:

Now the pan is finished, I can resume on the body (more work than expected but that is the nature of every project!)

Another milestone last week was to finally get the KG vert into primer after months and months of metal work and filler/block sanding.
