Lots of time spent on the buffer lately between Dennis's panel van roof and Warwick's KG. Also some time in the booth with primer gun in hand including laying on the last round of primer on Shane's 55 23 window:

The KG body was finally reunited with the pan:

Thanks Nugget, I am actually looking for a qualified panel beater (unfortunately not just a floor sweeper), pity you're a builder and not a beater ;)

Man this panel van has been a mission but we are finally into paint! After a huge couple of days for the final push I'm knackered but pleased to see colour for Dennis who has understandably been hanging out for it for a long while!

Yes I'm losing the plot....moreso with the amount of buffing ahead of me!

When colour sanding, I usually leave it a little dry (hence the peel) as its easier to block that out than runs when the clear is laid on too heavy!

Mate I don't think anyone would be concerned about peel like that

Cheers guys, yep that is one of Nugget's nuggets....Shana allowed them out of her handbag for the day and one found its way into my mouth somehow, I'm just thankful he manscapes.

On another note, also got my dad's T34 pan painted and back to him to reassemble (body is still a long way off though!)

Panel van heaven in here at the moment (63 in foreground is Barry's bare metal resto (my employee) in Gulf blau and Beige Grey (roof)....will be for sale once complete so keep an eye out if you are keen for a very nicely restored panel with great gaps and attention to detail).

Also received the Klassic Fab shipment after several months of waiting. Steve is working hard to get through the back log of orders to get the parts out as probably around 80% of its pre sold.....more stock just about to leave Columbia. 1300kg+ of luft freight was not pleasant to pay but we couldn't wait another 3 months for sea freight as the container went around the world last time!

Ordered a fanbelt yesterday afternoon from the das online store and had it waiting for me when I got home today. All for a similar price to anywhere local.

Thanks al, Steve & co!
