Post by Phat Bug »

As the title says chasing some late "D" 40hp 1200 heads, or even some "C"s maybe.

Cheers, Rhett.

there are some NOS 371D's on the samba but they have round bosses???

tonz this is a little excert from the "formulavee handbook"
available here: http://www.fvawa.org.au/Resources

HEADS
# 373 A,B & C round rocker post, less Finns for heat diserpation, can be made to flow OK.
# 373 square rocker post, most commonly used.
# 371 D same as above, slightly better for porting.
# 371 F after market similar to 373, avoid Mexican (poor casting).
Are you sure on those figures??
