Buzzed over into the Christmas Hills this morning to Smiths Gully. Great hillclimb track there. Plenty of different cars from a V8 Mustang to a turbo charged Moke. Was one open wheeler mid mount formula vee car. Couple of stacks too!

Great countryside surrounding the track, loved the cruise in the Fog, motor is starting to settle in nicely now, four in the car and cruised up and down sweeping hills all the way.

Skinny tyres, narrowed beam and swing axles would have made it interesting! There was also a causeway where the road slopes down and when you pick up enough speed on the run up the hill that follows, kaboom! Saw a few get really messy on the left hand that followed immediately after, combined with adverse crossfall around the bend, it was great spectating for those who mastered it.

Robroy interclub challenge - Sunday 23 June.

Thinking if anyone is interested in heading up there after a blast through Yarra Glen and the Christmas Hills. Either grab a bite to eat for Brekky at Watsons Creek or even head to the track and set up a BBQ to fry up bacon and eggs.

weiss rabbit brewery in Healesvile is also only a 30 minute drive away too 8)

Im keen on this mate as i mentioned yesterday. I reckon we could meet up somewhere near mine before we head out the road, so its sort of works for everyone..

BBQ at the track sounds good.

Awesome. Good excuse for a cruise. Would be cool to set up a bit of a bbq too. Some nice German Kransky's and some fresh bread to nibble on through the day might help ward off the cold too.

....actually, the "Come and Try day" - Sunday Sep 8, 2013 sounds good too. Might pull the old salt racer out for a run. See how the 36er goes.
