Having done the "Classic Week" for the past five years, I figured it was time to extend the invite to some other vw nuts and bring a group of guys/girls over to see the SoCal VW scene.

13 of us arrived in LA last Friday and after a quiet first day, we were up bright and early (5am gates open) Saturday for Pomona....pics below:

Whilst the VW events are the priority of the trip, for those who haven't been to the US before, some sight seeing had to be on the cards:

Swung by Chip Foose's shop but they weren't conducting tours today unfortunately so we bee-lined it to Moon eyes to pick up some goodies and got a full shop tour which was great

Following Pierside Parts open house on the Friday, came the get together at Nicks Diner - originally started by the DKP club, the "cruise" has grown into an event of its own!

So so jealous Al

Looks like it was an amazing trip!

Went to Mooneyes late last year, what an awesome bunch of guys.

You didnt happen to smuggle home the Barris diorama? That thing is awesome!

No such luck on the diorama Jase, but you are right they are a very cool bunch of guys.
