And then, this, some rad ideas here,
this one, shotgun on the back of the cab, circular saw blades for hubcaps, and a ring gear for a steering wheel, and shortened, and big noise.

And lastly, this really appeals to my past life on a broad acre farm.

yes, a big fat luft cooled diesel, bolted to the chassis and cab, of what was once, and still resembles a Dodge truck. Apparently a Deutz, irrigation motor.

Just so I get this right....

A stock HD or EK h olden is ok, but vws arent?

How did hot rodding start? Wasnt it a bunch of guys with not much money trying to make their cheap cars go faster/look better?

Isn't that what we're trying to do too?

You can take a VeeDub in there where you camp etc, just not into the events

There's a lot of cars there that I didn't see go into events etc

As well as a lot of bikes /cars that don't really fit the criteria

I was glad there weren't any Veedubs

Sick of the fucken things

agreed Jase, good to look at other cars, and talk shit with people who own other types of cars, and this was a highlight for me..

Talking to a guy about his car Friday evening, and see him Sat morn, and he says you want to do a few laps..

well it definitely wasn't a VW, but f@#k me, what a hoot..

and if I look a bit perturbed, I was halfway down the track, and started wondering..
.. can this bloke drive ok?
.. should have has some sunglasses, an open wheeled vehicle, in dirt and dust, means flying stuff,
... and yes we had seat belts, but what good would they be..

still, we did about 6 trips down the track..

Cool pic Rossko

I reckon Spike was involved with that car. It has the mud going the wrong way on the body!
