So I promised my daughter I'd build this up for her first car and her 16th birthday present

She wanted it schwarz of course (Good girl) and picked out Teledegas for it

Been so f#*king busy and thought the other day ah I've still got over 3 weeks till her birthday

But remembered I have to go away for my other daughters state finals on the 15th

So I have just under 2 weeks to panelbeat, paint, reassemble everything, fit new GTI interior, lower, fit new wheels and tyres and service in just under 2 weeks

Why do I always do this to myself

So I started yesterday

Unpacked it all and assesed the situation...........fuckme!

So stripped the front gaurds got them straight and into colour

Prepped the GTI body kit and got it into some colour

Painted doors and bonnet

Repaired rear gaurd and door jam where old mate had made a mess

Today layed on some clear pretty happy with results, be better if I had a booth cut down on dust but should run out nice

Hopefully tonight should have door jams done and in colour and cleared all going well.

OK everything is in colour and cleared except the wheels.

Dunno if you can see it in pics but got a run in the last coat of clear

Don't know why but I always seem to go just one too many

5 beers and shit light doesn't help though

It'll rub out once dried and if needed it's an easy spot to hit with clear again 8)

Wheels are a little rashed, but the price was right........FREE!!

Have cleaned them up and sanded down ready for paint

Now to clean my nose out with some thinners and a cotton bud
