Some nice cars there. Call me a Dumb cu*t, but I think restored splits shouldn't be too glossy. They should have a nice aged look. Just me maybe.

Know what you mean. Some of the US split restos look more perfect than the cars would have been originally, and don't seem quite right.

Weren't the paints that they used originally less shiny?

Yeah, slightly. Early early splits used lead based paints that were satin
