No mate. This will end up Jakes first car, so going quite conservative. No mods, other than an ECU tune, cat back exhaust ( maybe- the aeros have a 2.5 inch system already. Maybe a set of 30mm Eibach spring (once again, the Aero suspension is already firm and handles superb). Bigger rear sway bar, and some bigger strut bracing. The current min height on this thing is around 127 mm so another 30 might make it cop bait. Going for more the driving dads car, sleeper look

Maybe it's just me but I reckon they look about right straight out the box. I think I'm part of the minority too...... How many more kw do you think you'll squeeze out with the ecu touch up mate?

This one has the B205R HOT 2.0 engine thats 205hp standard. With a simple ECU only adjustment the say its good for a reliable 240hp. Other wise, its bigger injectors and fuel regulator, exhaust etc for around 260ish hp.

240hp is fine in my mind, as i really dont think all the extra expense is worth it for a 20hp gain, and for a future P plate driver, 240hp is more than ample to kill himself in

Why spend more money... that's a pretty tidy sum for daily driving.
Lucky it has so many safety features huh!?

Hopefully dash will be finished this week. Getting a chrome paint base, then a transparent carbon weave over it.

Hydro dip?

Yep. Once finished it should look like carbon with an alloy weave.

Previous owner emailed me some more receipts that shows he had this kit fitted too. Wondered why if handled and steered so well.

The car that keeps on giving. Looks like a decent upgrade.
The dash sound good, the wood grain lets the interior down a bit i reckon, good to see it go.

So a bit of detective work regarding the rear main leak. Was told by an old mate at Saab, before I drop the transmission to fix the rear main, that they can often piss oil when they are ok, if the PCV system isnt working.

Basically I checked it out and the PCV check valve was wide open, so under boost pressure, it is pressuring the crankcase with turbo pressure. Will order a new check valve and see if it fixes it. Fingers crossed
