Yep, bearing journals are different size, flywheel snout and dowels are different etc... 1200 crank is the same dimensions as a 1600 crank other than the stroke from memory (1200cc has a 64mm stroke, 1600 have a 69mm stroke) I read up on some guys putting lightend 1200cc cranks in 1600 blocks (destroking) for turbo and high rpm motors which was pretty cool... can't remember in great detail now but was ineteresting theory to everyone wanting to stroke the hell out of everything to make big motors... may have had to do with formula vee  :!: :?:
