There is always speculation on the cost of CIP's shipping.

I must agree, if you only need a $15 item, the shipping is a bit crazy, HOWEVER ...

When you organise a group order with a bunch of people (the more the better) the savings can be awesome!

To give you an idea, there are 3 of us going in on the next order for Vegas and the order total is about $600 USD including shipping.

If we all did our orders separately it would have been over $700 USD in total.

It surprised me too, for the other guys that only ordered light small items, they saved nearly 30% on the shipping costs, and I saved about 15% as I ordered a fair bit of heavy stuff.

Hope this helps

I found this Empi single 40mm weber clone kit on special $300us
seems like a killer deal to me.
I'm sure someone on here has had one of these on the back of there minds for a while.
could be a good time to buy, the AU $ isn't too bad.

it seems that the initial shipping price is $40-$50, then additional items add only a few dollars each.

i need a few small bits too if you want to spread the load :)

I ordered recently, for the first time, with credit card, and it came straight through. No request for details at all.

So a while ago, Nug got me to order his door bottom repairs from CIP when I was doing my order (back in early Nov).

Everything turned up within the week (like usual) and we didn't think any more of it.
It wasn't until he was doing his door repairs that we noticed that 2 left hand door outers had been sent.

It turns out they were labelled incorrectly where a part label for a right hand repair was stuck on a left hand.
So although the part number was correct as they scanned it in to check it off, it was physically the wrong part.

Anywho, we took some shots and emailed them over to Jill explaining the problem.

Within 2 days a credit for the amount of the repair has been sent through and the warehouse has been checked to find that all of their right hand repairs are actually lefts and are all labelled wrong from their supplier!

Now THAT is what I call customer service!

Meanwhile, I haven't been able to get George to answer his phone since last January
