Beat you and Bubblehead by 30mins mate. I left Valla at 8.45 monday morning, walked in the door in Cheltenham at 12.45am that nite. Absolutely f**ked. Long way for one driver. Obviously wasnt thinking too straight at the last fuel stop as I forgot to replace the fuel cap and ended up with very smelly luggage and front boot when I got home. T34 ran sweet as all the way back.
Worth it tho, Valla no 4 for me was bloody excellent, perfect weather, lots to drink and eat and dubs of description everywhere. And meeting up with VW peeps I see every 2 years. Nice to put a few faces to names from here too. Already looking forward to Valla 2010. Better ratio gear box and a larger fuel tank are on the prep list.
Sorry, this might slow everything down, I'm not sure.
I returned home with around 150 pics from Valla, and experimenting with a lens adapter I had bought only days before. I will put a few up here and see how we go. Might dip into the 'maybes' section.
I also see peoples faces in pics on other threads and other sites and think "OOHH, thats who that is..", specially like Facebook friends and so on, so I apologise for double taking but not saying anything! You know who you are!
