lowering in the sutherland shie???????

gday people ! my names sam and im picking up
my first beetle this week :) its a 67 model and i was wondering if get
yopu guys could tell me where to get it lowered in the shire ? and a estimate how much itll cost ?? and can you get them low without narrowing the beam ? cheers

From my recent experience it's dead easy to lower them. Easiest way is get a set of K&L Spindles and down you go. 2.5". Then notch and lower spring plates. Takes a day. This isn't involving narrowing the beam and welding adjusters of course. I just did mine and with the 135s I don't scrape the headlight buckets - just the guards :lol:

You can get them lower without narrowing, but not low :wink:

True. And in retrospect the K&Ls I believe are harder to fit than the ball joint ones I just did.

Add Ratmuller and Kim Garland @ Kruzinwagen to the list of those professionals if you want to outsource it.

hmm motor work go to gary at classic at kirrawee but he does not suspension work probally worth going straight to the others mentioned above for the full service from a quick lowering job to a full resto
