Hi Mick,

could help out at least with a set of 33 in the drawing and maybe more. Maybe 15 and 1.
Need to check whats there.
Or check some pictures in my photobucket.com. Just follow the link in my previous posts in the parts for sale section.

Best regards

cool, thanks for the reply marty. Probably forgot to mention I have a set of 33's but 15's and 1's are a help.

I have checked your photobucket pics, but quite hard to make out parts. Maybe worth me coming down, with parts image in hand, to sift through it all. When is a good time, and what kind of pricing have you got in mind.

cheers

Hi Mick,

fourpots has just snatched up almost all my type 4 bits. I have a look as to what is left and take some pics and post them here so you know if it is worth your while to come out here....

Best regards

just an update,

have procured:
-heat control boxes, and elbows
-hinge covers
-interior light (3 way although its pretty rough, will need a better one later)
-rear engine cross-member

still looking for:
-horn button
-sliding door upper guide cover
-upper gearbox hanger for 2ltr manual
- anyone have a pedal cluster underbody cover. these seem to be the first thing that is ripped off by mechanics.

starting to thin out my wishlist with things that are absolutely crucial. therefore: (getting very desperate, really need the T1 fan stuff urgently)

1. beetle (T1) 1971+ _ cooling fan, backing plate, shims, fan pulley etc
2. uncrushed damaged pushrod tubes for a type 4 engine
3. pushrod tube seals, valve cover gaskets for type 4 engine
4. external oil cooler with fan
5. late bay heater booster fan and tubing

as a backup, has anyone got a bus 1600 tp thats a goer in melburg that I could beg borrow or steel?

again might have to turn to wreckers, but worth a shot

additional to the engine, I am also interested in a bracket to convert a beetle engine to fit into a early bus.
