Well had a few non VW mates pop in and out throughout the night and a couple of the Luft boys stay the night. Had a nice cook up of bacon and eggs on toast this morning and then hit the show just after 9:00, and there were already over 200 cars there ! We managed to grab a spot on the hill, and set up camp. With the three VW's and a workmates Herbie, we managed to double last years VW quota

There ended up being well over 500 cars and bikes in attendance, and only one minor fender bender out the front of the grounds.
Spike left just as the rest of the crew turned up, as it seems some one had a little clutch trouble ...I won't tell who held every one up, but lets just say....he stinks like a goat !
At around 2:30 we headed back to my place for an inpromtu sausage sizzle and running repairs on Rosko's Square.
The weather was absolutely magnificent. The day was Vunderbah !
Tucked in for a good nights sleep

Spike making a grand entrance

The three of us lined up

The boys...and in the background, their toys !

The late comers....STENCHY !!!!!!!

Rosko on ramps...

Doc about to stick his head up Rosko's arse....end

Sausage sizzle at Joe's Joint

Cruisin on home

Thanks to Nee (Neil) Spike (Paul) Stench (Craig) Splittychick (Maddy?) LekkerVee( Tam) Mr Krinkle (Mick) Rosko( Rosko) and Mr and Mrs BeerDoc (Daryl and Kay) for making it all the more fun.
Joe.

I'm probably stating the obvious...but it's an Austin Healey. It belongs to a man by the name of Peter Jackson(true!) and its a Group S race car.
Hope that helps

I read the spiel about this, 1954, Bonneville Austin Healey speed car?
they were going to take to Bonneville in 2009, according to the board, 200+ hp, can't remember much else,
but the drivers seat was bare aluminum, all the easier to wipe clean after a run, I reckon.

				Can't believe this weather...

Sunday at the show 33 degrees

( felt like 66 in the sun)

Today, 75mm of rain in just over 3 hours....

At least "HE" waited till after the show
