The beige KG belongs to a mate of ours Stuart, who lives up the Sunshine coast. He did a ground up resto on that baby, and it's schmick!!!!

The weather was feral. If it wasnt raining, the sun would come out and turn the place into a sauna. Still a good day, most of us hung around in the Pub all day

Hey Dibba, did you get any photos of a certain MK2 GTI there?

None of those are my pics  Stole them from a post on AVD

Congrats on another award Ash!!!

That beige KG rocks, I passed the sunny coast convoy along the way and that thing was the standout of the bunch 8)

I think he is a member here too, thats where we would have seen it before Jasekebab ..

Hey Ash, was that red CB the winner of like 3 awards?

just to let u no bud, shes in the best condition she has ever been in, she is missin the roof rack and has a different colour bonnet, but she has a new motor, new beam, new gear box, new floor pans, re plated chassis, all stearin components and is gettin done back to bare metal for paint next month, hence new bonnet, so shes actually pretty all right =)

Thanks for the comments on the Ghia Guys! I haven't had a chance to take her out much because I've been out of the country since I finished her. I had a great day and it was great to catch-up with some club members.
Cheers,

It was a grey 56 with red interior - nut and bolt resto.
It was a friend of Steve Mullers selling it but I saw it on car sales or one of those sites but it's not there anymore....
