For anyone heading to Valla on friday morning, there is a small group of us leaving from my workshop at Burleigh (close to the M1) between 8 and 9am (will confirm time in the next few days).

Address is: DAS Resto Haus, 6/2 Calabro Way, Burleigh Heads (my number is 0417 645 854). Reedy creek road exit off m1, right at first set of lights into burleigh gardens industraial estate, left at t-intersection, follow road (curves around to the right), Calabro Way is your first left.

Anyone is welcome. No probs if you have other plans or times of departures in mind, just thought I'd throw the option out there. Steve (who works for me) will be driving his splitty dual cab (stock 1500 single port with reduction hub gearbox).....so a few of you may pass us if leaving later anyway :)

Cheers
Al

We are planning on meeting up with Cappo and a few of the boys in Byron Al, we should all sort something out. We were planning on maybe staying in Byron on thurs night, so if that happens maybe we can meet there. If not, we will come to your workshop!

PS: T3's are tail end Charlie!

Sounds good Ash, wouldn't want you to do the drive back up then straight back down though so I'm sure we could tee something up along the way (eg. meet us on the highway around byron as we come past or something)?

Meet at 8.30am and head off at 9am Ash. Should be a few making the cruise down so will be fun I'm sure - have already packed the tow rope in case the trusty old T3 has to lend a helping hand to any of the splitties :)

Might need to tow it from Mt Nebo to Valla at this stage. Things have gone VERY pair shaped in our drive way

Oh shit, thats no good. If it is any consolation (probably not), Steve's flywheel sheared off last Thursday which destroyed the end of his crank....so a mad rush of phone calls yielded a 1600 replacement and now back up and running - hoping it holds together for the trip.

He was very chuffed though as him and his splitty had to come and rescue me (with some tools as I didn't have any in the van) when my shifter snapped in the T3 late last week as well.

Hopefully you get it sorted, or elseI guess you'll be in the golf?
