Hey guys,

I lowered my fasty the other day and have run in to a problem, i can no longer turn right...

At the moment i have 165/80/r15 on the car. I can barely get my fingers in between the front left guard and the tyre so i may need to go even smaller than 145...

Thus i am after a pair of 145's or smaller to suit.
It's a 1969 Type 3 Fastback btw.

Any condition or even some advice would be great.
Basically just want to mock up exactly which size i need before i go splashing out on a set of brand spankin' new rubber.
If they were still usuable that would be preferred, then i can drive em till i have a bit more spare cash.

Im happy to pick up from where ever (vic) and pay cash.

Thanks,
Ben

i've run 145's and 135's on both my lowered notches.. either should be fine

you'd need a couple of fat blokes in the front to scrub on 145's - so you should be fine

nankangs are about $95ea new - so no need to bother with second hand rubbers...!

Thanks for that Ben, i didnt realise they were so cheap!

The rubbing is pretty serious so maybe i should go 135's?
Will most tyre places have them in stock?

They are cheap, but you may go through them a bit quicker

Not all tyre places stock them, you may have to ring around a little. Be careful in wet weather too.
