BENDIG0 VOLKSCLUB Happenings

Today we had a club reg inspection day, and with the inspections out of the way, we enjoyed a BBQ and a few brewski's. Great way to spend a rainy Sunday arvo...............

As some of you may know, a clubmember Andrew (own's the 13 window we lowered not long back) owns a car wash here in Benders, a while back the club got together and andrew had a TV commercial filmed for it, with all the Beetle's driving in and out of the wash bays.
It's been a huge success and he's recently installed an Ice vending machine (he supplied the ice for the campout) so he decided it'd be cool to get some dubs with racks and oldschool eskys together driving past the machine.
We all had a great time and were treated to some free coffee's down the street after

Just got home from Mt Franklin, what a beutiful spot!
Unfortunately I was only able to cruise down first thing this morning,
But, A convoy of members cruised down yesterday and met up with a contingent of members from the Ballarat Club.
Every report I heard today was that it was a huge success dispite the weather last night, and it was great to see both clubs working together to have such a wonderful time
A couple of pics from this morning...........
