Bora Bora.. WTB--No Longer.. :)

Post by Tonz Magonz »

Now looking for a Bora for sons first car.
Must be a manual but undecided on 4 or 5 cylinder option yet..

Does anyone have any personal experience with either engine type, as we aren't sure if 4cyl. is more economical than the V5 in terms of fuel ,servicing etc.

Also, Do all Boras have front side curtain luft bags..?

Prefer melburg car but will travel for a good one.. :)

pm or mobile for any leads appreciated, and ready to buy within the next 2 weeks..

Cheers

5 cylinder feels a bit more smooth in terms of cruising. The 4 cylinder engine are good, love them. Everything is easy to work on. That's my personal opinion.

Oops ..
Must have missed this post in all the excitement...

Under 100Ks would be ideal but may add too much cost ..

Probably leaning toward a 4 cyl. being first car but if a V5 appeared for the right price, we 'd jump at it..

Missus not so keen on Marks car atm...It's a 2004 with 194Ks on it and a VIV certificate..

The one on AVD looks very nice but by time we add RWC and reg. the budget will be blown to smithereens...
Almost too nice for a first timer considering it'll probably get dented..

Thanks Lawrence..
